Dental Emergencies in Tucson & Oro Valley
Broken tooth, lost crown, sudden pain? Dr. Schumer's Tucson and Oro Valley offices see active patients same-day when possible. Serving Saddlebrooke, Rancho Vistoso, Catalina Foothills, and the broader Tucson area since 2012.
Dental emergencies don't wait. Whether it's pain, a broken tooth, or a lost crown, we try to see active patients as soon as possible — sometimes same day if you're in pain. For new patients, we'll work to get you in as quickly as we can.
What makes this approach different.
Active Patients Get Priority
If you're an active patient in pain, we try to get you in same day — whether at our office or through one of our trusted specialists.
New Patients Welcome
We will try to get new patients in as soon as possible. We do not offer walk-in services, but we'll work with you to find time.
Trusted Specialist Network
For procedures Dr. Schumer doesn't perform — surgeries, root canals, advanced oral surgery — we refer to specialists we trust.
About your dentist
Dr. Corey Schumer — 12+ years of dentistry in Tucson.
Dr. Schumer acquired Schumer Dental's East Tucson office on Wilmot Road in 2012 and opened the Oro Valley office at 11115 N La Cañada Dr in late 2025. He's a 2022 and 2025 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics finalist and sees dental emergencies for patients across Saddlebrooke, Rancho Vistoso, Catalina Foothills, Tanque Verde, and the broader Tucson area.
What makes him different: Dr. Schumer handles every case personally. No associates, no rotating dentists, no handing off emergency dental care to a junior provider.

The process, step by step.

Is this right for you?
Severe Tooth Pain
Sudden, severe, or persistent tooth pain is a dental emergency. Call us right away.
Broken or Cracked Tooth
A fractured or broken tooth needs prompt attention to prevent infection and further damage.
Lost Crown or Filling
Lost crowns or fillings expose the tooth. Call us — we'll determine how quickly you need to be seen.
Broken Implant Crown
If the crown on top of your implant breaks, we can help. (Broken implants themselves require a surgeon.)

Concerned about a treatment recommended elsewhere? We're happy to provide second opinions.
Meet Dr. Schumer first.
Cosmetic and restorative dentistry is an investment of time and trust. Before you decide anything about emergency dental, we offer a complimentary meet & greet so you can see who you'd be working with — no pressure, no obligation, no clinical exam.
What to expect from a meet & greet
- Introduce yourself and meet Dr. Schumer in person
- Ask any questions about emergency dental, the process, or his approach
- No clinical exam, no commitment — just a conversation
- Available at either our Oro Valley or East Tucson office
Available at both Schumer Dental offices.
Our Oro Valley and East Tucson offices operate as two separate business entities — insurance coverage varies by location. The same Dr. Schumer works at both, and you'll receive the same standard of care. Call to confirm your plan.
Common questions.

We can provide estimates of service costs with and without insurance after your examination. We never want a surprise at checkout.
How fast can I be seen?
It depends on your situation and our schedule. The goal is for you to be seen as soon as possible — but timing varies. Please call so we can triage.
